I run, I hide, but I never lie! - Duo Maxwell

Connection

:: What is Yaoi? :: Duo :: Characters :: Warnings ::

What is Yaoi?:

Definition: Yaoi is a term of Japanese origin used to refer to manga or fan art that focuses on homosexual relationships between male characters. It can be compared with sho–nen-ai, which focuses on the same topic, but is (typically) not as graphic in its portrayal of homosexuality. Both categories are now commonly referred to as Boys' Love in Japan. From Wikipedia

You wouldn't find that definition in your normal dictionary. For those who don't know, Yaoi is a term used here in cyberspace to catergorize Homosexual relationships between manga and doujinshi characters. One can find that most yaoi focuses on the actual relationship. Thats not to say that some also focues on the sexual aspects, however it does tend to take a back seat to the relationships.

Why Duo?:

I've always prefered Duo's out going appearance to any of the other pilots. To me his strenght comes from his willingness to do what ever pleases him. There are very few people who can truly accomplish everything they do in life without worry of its out come on the rest of there life. After everything that happened within his life to make him suffer the only true thing that came out of it was his belief that if he was to truly stop the war, there would be no more orphan like him to suffer.

Duo disposition generally changes everytime a battle begins. He becames Shinigami, The God Of Death. The history of this has always brought a tear to my eye. He believes this because everyone who's close to him has always come to pass before his eyes. Everyone expect him.
