Duo Maxwell: Shinigami

Duo, from Mobile Suit: Gundam Wing, is the second pilot of the renagade pilots of the all powerful Gundam's. His first name, Duo, meaning 2 in at least 12 different languages that I know of. He's the most out going and fun loving of the pilots, always if possible finding something funny out of every situation. This young pilot drives the DeathScythe, and in the future, the DeathScythe Hell. Though this gundam is not the most powerful it does have some unique equitment that is specialized only to it. With Duo as the comic relief of this band of misfits the family is always complete.

Duo was born on the L2 Colony Cluster. His parents were killed in the war and he's been a war orphan every since. Not much is know about Duo in his early years however a history soon is put together after the year A.C. 187. In A.C. 187 Duo and his band of orhpans were Adopted by the The Maxwell Church on L2. Though all of the little boy's and girls were adopted Duo kept getting sent back to the Church. Most of the parents who were to adopt him sent him back to the Church because of incidents that Duo had caused. Finally Father MAxwell and Sister Helen stopped trying to find him a home, and kept him on as a son of there own.

At that young of an age Duo believed and still does that the only god is the God of Death, or Shinigami. He tells Sister Helen and Father Maxwell one dau that his reason for believing this is that he's never seen anything but death in his entire life. Though the Father and Sister try to teach him of their god, he still never changes his belief.

One Year later, A.C 188, Duo finds himself in another compable position when the war has spilled over his home. The Church begins to take in the soldiers of the Rebellion and once again Duo have found death right in front of his eyes. In a moment of desperation Duo tries to stop the take over by stealing a mobile suit from OZ and the Allianceto give to the soldiers of the Rebellion. When he returns, he finds his home destroyied and Father Maxwell and Sister Helen dying. Once again his home and the only people he called family are dead and Duo is on his own again. He turns his facade inside out and becomes the God of Death. Duo was the only surviver of what history would call the Maxwell Church Tragedy, and adopts Maxwell as his last name.

Four years later, A.C. 192 Duo sneeks into the research center where Professor G has built the Gundam DeathScythe. Professor G is impressed with Duo's ability and ask him to pilot his Gundam. Finding no other way to feed him accepts and begins to train to pilot the Gundam. Three years later an order comes down from the Rebellion to release the Gundams on the earth and take over during the Chaos. Instead Professor G suggests to Duo to Steal the Gundam and desend to Earth to fight the Alliance. Thus begins his part in the History of the Gundams.
